All room bookings must be made by the designated room owner at SAIT.
To ensure catering for your event please make sure you have a confirmed room booking with sufficient table space for set up. Curated catering may require room access up to 1 hour in advance of your event for catering set up as well as clean up time post event.
Senator Burns Penthouse booking has limited options available for catering. Please email directly at SAITevents@hotelarts.ca to confirm options.
If your area has secure access, please discuss it in advance with your Curated Catering team.
In order to ensure availability, we request that your menu selections are confirmed with your Event Manager no later than one week prior to your event. Please advise your Event Manager of any special dietary requirements as soon as possible prior to the event. We are unable to accommodate dietary substitutions made on the day of the event. A $10.00 per person surcharge is applicable when offering a menu consisting of two entree selections (excludes vegetarian options). Final entree count is due no later than 3 business days prior to the event. All menus are subject to guest minimums. Take out containers may be requested for all catered events upon signing of a food waiver.
Dietary Restrictions can be accommodated, and menu adjustments are available upon request. Arrangements should be made in advance with your Curated Catering event contact.

For all meal functions, the guaranteed number attending must be communicated to your Curated Catering event contact no later than 3 business days prior to the function date, otherwise, charges will be based on the number originally booked.
Curated Catering requires 3 business days’ notice for any orders or order changes.
Curated Catering reserves the right to adjust prices to reflect the current market conditions.
Prices do not include 18% service charge or 5% GST.
SAIT Internal Clients are required to set up an account in Catertrax and provide FOAPAL upon ordering. Upon account set up please allow all tracking messages and communication to flow through Catertrax.

All external clients are required to have a credit card on file and follow the deposit schedule outlined on SAIT.ca
• An initial 20% deposit is required at the time of signing
• Remaining deposit schedule can be discussed with your event manager upon confirmation of event
• The remaining balance from your event must be paid in full within 5 business day of the completion of catering services
Deposits are based on the estimate provided by your event manager. They may be applied to additional fees and/or charges. Cancellation of an event with less than 7 days’ notice will be subject to 50% of signed catering estimate. Events cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice will be subject to a 100% catering estimate. All specialty items acquired for the event will be subject to charges. Cancellations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Curated catering will always work with our clients to try and accommodate catering orders. Any orders that are requested within 72 hours of the event’s beginning are subject to availability. Procurement and labor charges may apply.

Additional buffet and room décor may be available at additional fees.
We also can provide additional staff at $30/hour with a 3-hour minimum. Staff can be requested for additional service or if required to register guests or provide coat checks. Please inquire about availability.
All food prices quoted are subject to applicable federal and provincial taxes unless otherwise stated. An eighteen percent (18%) service charge is applied to all food and beverage and five percent (5% GST is applicable.)
A fifteen percent (15%) surcharge will apply to all food and beverage on all Canadian statutory holidays.
